ken echezabal

ken echezabal works in liquid, deftly pouring out hypnotic patterns and skewed compositions in his vivid personal style. he begins by pooling intricate concentric circles of paint onto glass and then slides and stretches the image to a secondary canvas. the resulting paintings appear to move and vibrate across the canvas in spontaneous rivers of pattern and color.

 

ken studied fine art at the university of south forida and the ringling college of art & design. he currently lives and works in tampa, florida.
